the most effective way of presenting universality is to detach oneself from the initial source of life. reality is no longer a source of tangibility, but rather an endless number of unsolved questions.
so many beautiful people out there
Pondering mind
Its instinctive. One instantly realizes when he/she is transcended by the experience. It may be a continuous, lifelong series of events, but definitely not a mundane one. Its just too difficult to go back, thats all.
im glad i stopped taking myself seriously

how does one act graceful when everything they see is unpleasant?
i am not intoxicated of pre-existing matters.
Self Portrait: Exploration of Beauty in Artifice (Stills)
Installation with HD projection
December 2012
“The figure in the video will have her mouth open. Her face will be blurred to explore and accentuate the concept of universality in self-portraits. There will be minute movement to the figure such as opening and closing of the eyes and breathing. She will be nude, projected on a white wall just a bit larger than life-size. From the belly of the figure, black manila rope will protrude out towards the audience.” - November 28, 2012

80% of the brain is dedicated to visual processing. 80% of information we take in, how we interpret and respond to art, begins with our abilities to see. Often we take this wonderful gift called vision for granted. We think too much, and art becomes too conceptual.
We call ourselves artists, yet find ourselves completely disregarding the single most important aspect of art and even life, beauty. Beauty comes from the mind, but the mind comes from vision.
Art is a celebration. A celebration of pre-existing matters through the eyes of an artist.
We see a beautiful tree, and immediately it stirs up emotion. Because we can see the rough textured bark of the tree extending from the roots, to the trunk, and branches that reach out towards the beautiful sunset on a breezy fall evening, it becomes a transcending experience.
Using a projection rather than physically creating an eye chart, annihilates the physical qualities of a typical, accepted notion of painting, hence mimicking the conceptual aspect of art. The letters on the painting are not just letters, but abstracted figures present in art today.

he said one more step. every minute detail meticulously observed. a secretive anticipation of contradiction.
We are adaptable creatures. Take in what is necessary and let it permeate through unconsciousness.
the essence of it all ultimately lies in the mind of a person. the perplexed learned to appreciate at the least expected moment of life.
